The Old Town Development Trust is a group set up by local residents to help the Old Town develop in a way that meets the needs of the people who live in it.

It will do this by:

• Assessing the needs of the community. People who live in the Old Town need to be consulted about what they want to see happening where they live. This information needs to be collated and disseminated, and it will serve as the foundation of the Development Trust’s further activities.
• Supporting and leading projects that are in the interest of the Old Town community and are sustainable for future generations as defined by the community surveys and community involvement.
