November 8th 2010 will see the publication of the first ever Edinburgh Old Town Annual (a snappier title will emerge over the coming months!) – a bumper full-colour tabloid celebrating Old Town life in all its glory. A paid publication of around 150 pages published by the Edinburgh Old Town Development Trust, the annual will reflect the life, work and culture of the Old Town reflecting on its past struggles and triumphs, its present experience and passions and its aspirations for the future. The Annual will be attractive to locals and visitors alike, to anyone who is curious about the city’s history and people – to anyone who cares about this unique place. Contributions – articles, poems, memories, art – are being sought from all parts of the community: young and old; residents and workers; businesses and institutions. Contributors will also be asked ‘What does the Old Town mean to you and how do we ensure a vibrant future?’ For further information or to discuss potential contributions, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
